June 15 Total Lunar Eclipse Streaming online
There is a scheduled total lunar eclipse on June 15, 2011 which will turn the Moon as it turns blood red for 101 minutes. PAGASA said in a press release that the eclipse will begin at 1:23 AM Philippine Time (PHT) of June 16, 2011 and will end at 7:02 AM (PHT).
According to PAGASA, the entire event will be seen from the eastern half of Africa, the Middle East, central Asia and western Australia. Observers throughout Europe will miss the early stages of the eclipse because they occur before moonrise. Fortunately, totality will be seen throughout the continent except for northern Scotland and northern Scandinavia.
