According to the facebook page of ABS-CBN Maria Mercedes, Andy Eigenmann will be the lead role for the Remake of the hit Mexican Telenovela which will air soon on Primetime bida of ABS-CBN.

Maria Mercedes is one of the telenovelas starred by Mexican actress Thalia after Marimar. It’s tagalized version was aired on ABS-CBN in 1996 during the massive popularity of Marimar on RPN 9.
