New Rules on Class and Work Suspensions During Typhoons (DepEd and CHED)
The Philippines frequently experiences typhoons and other natural disasters. In fact, at least 10 typhoons or tropical cyclones occur every year. Apart from the lives they claim, and properties destroyed, typhoons also bring confusion to students and workers. To guide primary, elementary and secondary schools on class suspension during typhoons, the Department of Education issued guidelines for suspension of classes during storms.
