Filipinos are asking if May 2, 2011 (Monday) will be holiday in the Philippines or not. This is after employees expected that the May 1, 2011 holiday (Labor Day) will be transferred to the nearest Monday.
Presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda answered queries on whether May 2, 2011 will be considered a holiday since May 1, Labor Day, falls on a Sunday.
“Sad to say May 2 is a regular working day,” he said.
