According to the Philippines weather bureau PAGASA as of 5:00 p.m. today, August 1, 2011 Tropical Depression "LANDO" has weakened into a Low Pressure Area over the West Philippine Sea. . was located based on satellite and surface data at 280 km West Southwest of Laoag City (16.7°N, 119.7°E) with Maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center. It is forecast to move North Northeast slowly.
