According to the Philippine weather bureau PAGASA, as of 9:00 PM, Tropical Storm "HELEN" has accelerated as it is expected to make landfall over the Isabela - Cagayan area. The eye of storm was estimated based on radar, satellite and surface data 120 km East Southeast of Tuguegarao City (17.1°N, 123.1°E) with maximum sustained winds of 85 kph near the center and Gustiness of up to 100 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 17 kph.

According to the weather bureau PAGASA, as of 10:00 am today, the center of Tropical Storm "GENER" was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 310 km East Northeast of Casiguran, Aurora (17.2°N, 125.3°E) with maximum sustained winds of 85 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kph . It is forecast to move North Northwest at 11 kph

Typhoon ( Bagyong) Dindo Update as of June 27, 2012






According to the weather bureau PAGASA, as of 4:00 pm today, the center of Tropical Storm "DINDO" was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 430 km east southeast of Casiguran, Aurora (15.9°N, 126.7°E) with maximum sustained winds of 75 kph and gustiness of up to 90 kph. It is forecast to move west northwest at 19 kph. Southwest Monsoon affecting Southern Luzon and Visayas.

According to the Philippines weather bureau PAGASA as of 4:00 pm today, June 2, 2012, Tropical Storm "AMBO" has gained strength as it moves along the eastern coast of Northern Luzon. The eye of Typhoon "AMBO" was located based on satellite and surface data at 210 km Northeast of Casiguran, Aurora (17.4°N, 124.1°E) with maximum winds of 95 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 120 kph. According to the Philippines weather bureau PAGASA as of 04:00 a.m. today, October 13, 2011, Tropical Depression "RAMON" was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 80 km West Northwest of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro (12.6°N, 120.3°E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center. It is forecast to move Northwest at 11 kph.

Typhoon ( Bagyong ) "Quiel" Update October 3, 2011






According to the Philippines weather bureau PAGASA as of 4:00 pm today, October 2, 2011, Typhoon "QUIEL" has weakened as it moves farther away from the country. The eye of Typhoon "QUIEL" was located based on satellite and surface data at 370 km West Northwest of Baguio City (16.9°N 116.4°E) with maximum sustained winds of 120 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 150 kph. It is forecast to move West at 20 kph. Meanwhile, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 740 km East of Visayas (12.0°N 133.0°E).

According to the Philippines weather bureau PAGASA as of 4:00 pm today, September 28, 2011, Typhoon "PEDRING" continues to move away from the country and is now out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). The eye of Typhoon "PEDRING" was located based on radar, satellite and surface data at 520 km West Northwest of Baguio City (17.5°N, 115.3°E) with maximum winds of 130 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 19 kph.

According to the Philippines weather bureau PAGASA as of at 4:00 am  today, August 29, 2011 Tropical Storm "MINA"  was located based on satellite and surface data at 190 km North Northwest of Basco, Batanes (22.0°N; 120.8°E) with maximum winds of 110 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 140 kph.  It is forecast to move northwest at 9 kph.

According to the Philippines weather bureau PAGASA as of 2:00 p.m. today, August 3, 2011 Typhoon "KABAYAN" was located based on satellite and surface data at 980 km Northeast of Basco, Batanes (24.4°N, 131.9°E) with maximum sustained winds of 165 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 200 kph. It is forecast to move west Northwest at 11 kph. Meanwhile, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) and was estimated at 120 km South Southwest of Sinait, Ilocos Sur (16.7°N, 119.7°E).

It is forecast to move  North Northeast slowly.

According to the Philippines weather bureau PAGASA as of 4:00 am today, July 28, 2011 Tropical Storm "JUANING" was estimated based on radar, satellite and surface data at 240 km West Southwest of Laoag City (17.8°N; 118.1°E) with maximum sustained winds of 95 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 120 kph. It is forecast to move west northwest at 22 kph.

After Bagyong "Juaning" Bagyong "Kabayan" expect to enter the PAR this weekend






While the Storm "Juaning" intensifies the Philippines as of July 27, 2011, bagyong Juaning had already claimed a total of 20 lives and a new weather disturbance will hit the PAR this weekend. A storm to be codenamed "Kabayan" will develop outside the country. However, details on the storm's track remain sketchy as of this posting Tuesday.

AT 4:00 PM TODAY, TYPHOON “CHEDENG” WAS ESTIMATED BASED ON RADAR, SATELLITE AND SURFACE DATA AT 260 KM NORTH NORTHEAST OF VIRAC, CATANDUANES OR 300 KM EAST OF CASIGURAN, AURORA ( 15.8° N, 125.4 °E ) WITH MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS OF 175 KPH NEAR THE CENTER AND GUSTINESS OF UP TO 210 KPH. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTHWEST AT 19 KPH.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) raised public storm signal No.2 over Catanduanes, Sorsogon, Albay, Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte and the Samar Provinces on Wednesday.
