SPECIAL LICENSURE EXAMINATIONS FOR OFWs IN
AL-KHOBAR AND RIYADH, KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA, DOHA,
STATE OF QATAR, AND ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
The PROFESSIONAL REGULATION COMMISSION (PRC) announces that
special licensure examinations for ARCHITECTS, CERTIFIED PUBLIC
ACCOUNTANTS, CIVIL ENGINEERS, ELECTRONICS ENGINEERS,
REGISTERED ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS, REGISTERED MASTER
ELECTRICIANS, and MECHANICAL ENGINEERS will be administered
simultaneously in AL-KHOBAR and RIYADH, KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA,
DOHA, STATE OF QATAR and ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES on
November 16, 17, and 18, 2010. This is in compliance with Executive Order No.
835 issued by Her Excellency, PRESIDENT GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO on
October 6, 2009.
Qualified applicants must submit the following documentary requirements:
I. GENERAL DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS (FOR FIRST TIME
APPLICANTS AND REPEATERS) ---Architects, C.P.A.s, Civil Engineers,
Electrical Engineers, Electronics Engineers & Mechanical Engineers:
1. Original & photocopy of Transcript of Records (TOR) with scanned picture
and remarks “For Board Examination Purpose only”
2. Original & photocopy of Certificate of Live Birth issued by the National
Statistics Office (NSO) in security paper
3. Four (4) pieces of passport-size pictures with complete nametag
4. Photocopy of pages of Philippine Passport with name and picture and date of
departure from the Philippines
II. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS FOR ARCHITECTS:
1. College diploma (for first time applicants)
2. N.B.I. Clearance
3. PTR IAPOA Number of Mentor
4. Two (2) years of diversified experience after graduation
5. Logbook of Diversified Experience (can be secured from U.A.P.)
6. Affidavit of Experience signed by a registered Architect with
updated PRC Professional I.D.
III. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS FOR C.P.A.
1. N.B.I. Clearance
2. Certificate of Refresher Course (for those who failed twice)
3. Must be Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduate (for first time
applicants)
4. BSC/BSBA graduates who are repeaters can apply for the examination. BSC/
BSBA graduates who are first timers will NOT be allowed to apply.

IV. GENERAL DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS (FOR FIRST TIME
APPLICANTS)
---Registered Master Electrician:
1. For BSEE Graduates
1.1 Transcript of Records with scanned picture and remarks for Board Exam
purpose
1.2 Certification of Employment or Service Record of at least one (1) year of work
experience
1.3 Certificate of Experience of one (1) year or more in PRC Form No. 104 and to
be signed by a registered electrical engineer or professional electrical
engineer and duly notarized / under oath
2. For Electrical Engineering Technology Course Graduates
2.1 Transcript of Records
2.2 Certification of Employment or Service Record of at least three (3) years of
work experience
2.3 Certificate of Experience of three (3) years or more in PRC Form No. 104 and
to be signed by a registered electrical engineer or professional electrical
engineer and duly notarized / under oath
3. For High School Graduates
3.1 Diploma or Transcript of Records
3.2 Certification of Employment or Service Record of at least five (5) years of work
experience
3.3 Certificate of Experience of the five (5) years or more in PRC Form No. 104
and to be signed by a registered electrical engineer or professional electrical
engineer and duly notarized / under oath
4. Certificate of Live Birth from the National Statistics Office in NSO security
paper (for Items 1, 2 and 3)
V. EXAMINATION FEES: US$40.00 for Architect, CPA, CE, ECE, REE, ME
US$30.00 for Registered Master Electrician
Qualified applicants are advised to contact the nearest Philippine Embassy,
Consular Office, POLO or their respective overseas accredited professional
organizations (UAP, PICPA, PICE, IIEE, IECEP, PSME) in Al-Khobar, Riyadh, Doha,
Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Applications must be submitted to the overseas accredited professional
organizations (UAP, PICPA, PICE, IIEE, IECEP, PSME) on or before September 30,
2010 for transmittal to PRC-Manila on or before October 5, 2010. Applicants whose
documents are in the Philippines may submit them to the Application Division for
evaluation on or before September 30, 2010.
