26 Domestic flights cancelled due to Typhoon ‘Falcon’






Twenty-six domestic flights have been cancelled in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport terminals 2 and 3 as of 10 a.m. due to bad weather.

Department of Science and Techonology (DOST) Undersecretary Graciano Yumul said that tropical storm ‘Falcon’ could develop into a severe tropical storm today.
In its 5 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, Astronomical Services Administration spotted Falcon 250 kilometers (km) northeast of Virac, Catanduanes, moving west northwest at 19 kilometers per hour (kph).
The storm is packing maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gusts of up to 80 kph.
