Total Gross of In the Name of Love in 3 Weeks hits 106.66M

The Aga Muhlach and Angel Locsin starrer became the second Filipino movie to surpass the P100 million mark this year after “Catch Me…I’m In Love” starring Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson which has a box-office record of P120.21 million.

Capturing the no. 1 spot last weekend is Dreamworks’ animated film Kung Fu Panda 2 by raking-in P84.8 million in first 5 days. Settling for 2nd place is Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides which now had a box-office gross of P120.21 million in 2 weeks.

The mighty “Thor”, on the other hand, still holds the record of being the top-grossing movie in the Philippines for 2011 by virtue of its P175.9 million gross in 5 weeks.
