According to the Philippines weather bureau PAGASA as of 10:00 am today, Tropical Depression "GORING" was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 460 km North of Basco, Batanes(25.1°N, 122.3°E). With maximum winds of 55 kph near the center.

It is forecast to move West Northwest at 10 kph. "GORING" will continue to enhance the Southwest Monsoon bringing occasional rains over Luzon and Visayas becoming frequent over western section which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.

Meanwhile, the other Low Pressure Area (LPA) East of Mindanao has dissipated.
