Perseid meteor shower Shows on August 13, 2011
The famous Perseids meteor shower will be observed with its peak in the  early morning hours over this weekend. Significantly, the bright  moonlight will interfere in observing fainter meteors. Its Zenithal  Hourly Rate is 15 bright and swift-moving meteors, According to PAGASA. 
The Perseid meteor shower occurs every year and is visible starting  mid-July. It peaks on August 9 and 14, depending on the particular  location of the stream.
