The Ateneo Blue Eagles beat the FEU Tamaraws, 82-64 in Game 1 of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 74 (2011) Men’s Basketball Finals.

Ateneo’s Nico Salva is the best player of the game with 24 points and 6 rebounds. The Blue Eagles are a win away from a rare four-peat. Game 2 will be played on Tuesday, September 27, 3PM at the Smart Araneta Coliseum and will be aired live on Studio 23. Game 3, it will be played on October 1, 2011 and will be aired live on ABS-CBN. The Blue Eagles is going for a rare four-peat in this season (Season 74) of the UAAP or the University Athletic Association of the Philippines.
