Afternoon classes from pre- to high school are suspended. The Department of Education has suspended the afternoon classes from primary to high school in Metro Manila due to bad weather.

After consulting the national weather bureau, the DepEd decided to suspend the classes from pre-school, elementary and high school in all public and private schools effective 12 noon Friday.

Pagasa earlier announced that the weather system will cause light but continuous downpours over Metro Manila until Sunday due to the convergence of the northeast monsoon and easterlies or the winds coming from the Pacific Ocean..
