UAAP Season 74 Womens Volleyball: Gretchen Ho led ADMU Lady Eagles to get straight 5 wins

Gretchen Ho of the Ateneo de Manila University Lady Eagles led the team to notch their fifth win and grab the second spot for the 2011 UAAP Season 74 Women’s Volleyball before the tournament goes on a holiday break.

The Lady Eagles clashed with the Lady Tamaraws at the Filoil Flying V Arena on December 21, 2011 at 3:30 PM. Ateneo lady Eagles defeated the Far Eastern University (FEU) Lady Tamaraws with a 3-1 scoring advantage in favor of the lady eagles. Final scores are 25-22 , 25-21, 23-25 and 25-20 for the first to fourth sets, respectively. The Lady Tamaraws have managed to extend the game on the third set but the Lady Eagles took the lead on the fourth.

Alyssa Valdez was named as the Player of the Game.

The Lady Eagles now place second with 5 wins and 1 loss, next to the undefeated De La Salle Women’s Volleyball team.
