Panagbenga Festival 2012 Schedule of Activities and Events Starts on Feb 1, 2012

The much-celebrated Panagbenga Festival, a month-long annual flower festival in Baguio is held during the month of February. Millions of tourists are expected to visit the summer capital of the Philippines to witness the showcase of floats that are decorated with flowers and street dancing, presented by dancers clad in flower-inspired costumes.

This year, Panagbenga’s theme is ‘Community Convergence for a Sustainable Tourism Growth’. The festival will officially open on February 1 with a grand opening program at 7:00 a.m.at the Panagbenga Park along Military Cut-off Loop, to be followed by the Drum and Lyre parade and competition.
