Here is the schedule of operations of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) upcoming Holy Week 2012. According to Radyo5 News FM, LRT 1 and LRT 2 will be closed from 8:00 p.m. of Holy Wednesday, April 4, 2012 until April 8, 2012, Easter Sunday to give way for the annual maintenance work.

The FM radio station announced that the two train systems will resume normal operations on April 9, Monday at 5:00 a.m.

Engr. Emerson L. Benitez, LRTA Officer-In-Charge said the maintenance work "will involve the cleaning and checking of all LRT facilities, systems and equipment, and replacement of catenary wires and rail ballasts along critical segments."
