May 1, 2012 Non Working Holiday in the Philippines

May 1, 2012 is a non working holiday in the Philippines which falls on tuesday of the week. And we all know that during administration of former president, Arroyo, a lot of regular and special non-working holidays were moved to either Monday or Friday in observance of Holiday Economics Law.

Will it move to Monday, April 30, 2012? May 1, 2012 (Labor Day), was listed in Proclamation 295, signed late last year, November 24, 2011, by President Aquino, listing the special and regular public holidays in the Philippines for the calendar year 2012. The answer is NO, April 30, 2012 is not a holiday.
