Another date is August 21, 2012, it is also a non working holiday to commemorate the anniversary of the 1983 assassination of the former Senetor Benigno "NINOY" Aquino, Jr. And finally August 27 is the marking of the 1896 Cry of the Pugad ng Lawin by the katipunan led by Andres Bonifacio which began the Philippine Revolution.
