Eat Bulaga Contestant saying “Thank You” to Willie and WilTime Bigtime Contestant Thanking ABS-CBN (w/ Video)

December 17, 2011 has been a funny day for two live shows, Eat Bulaga and WilTime Bigtime. At noon of that day, Eat Bulaga aired live on GMA7. In one of its segments, “Juan for All, All for Juan”, a contestant mistakenly thanked Willie instead of Wally (the host of the segment). Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola, along with other hosts of Eat Bulaga turned this blooper into a laughingstock.

Jose impersonated Willie Revillame and the others impersonated Willie’s WilTime Bigtime co-hosts Shalani and Congratulations. Also, the gang imitated some segments of Willie’s now-defunct show Wowowee (ABS-CBN) and his current show WilTime Bigtime (TV5). One of the subjects of their jokes was Sugar Estrada, former co-host of Eat Bulaga who transferred to WilTime Bigtime. The spoof that Jose and the rest did, made the program even more fun.

Meanwhile, at night of that same day, the show that has been the object of the spoof, WilTime Bigtime, aired live on TV5. The funny thing is that one of the contestant of a certain segment of WTB has mistakenly thanked ABS-CBN instead of TV5. Because of this uncanny circumstance, Willie brought up the spoof that Eat Bulaga did on their show. He clarified that he did not get offended in any way, but instead, he was appreciative of what Eat Bulaga did. He said that Eat Bulaga spoofing him was somehow flattering and meant that they liked what he does on his show.

However, the bitterness that Willie feels towards the Kapamilya network was evident when he said that the contestant should have mistakenly thanked GMA7 instead of ABS-CBN.
